Before the shop visit
I started the day by recording the original wheels and tires on my 2023 Ford Transit 250 high-roof extended. The van still had its silver steel wheels, and I wanted a record of that starting point before the change. I walked around both sides, then showed the replacement Method Race Wheels boxes on the hand truck. In that introduction I identified them as matte-black MR701s.
The photograph from inside the tire shop catches the transition particularly well: the original wheels are still on the van, and the boxed Method wheels are standing beside it. It is the last clear shop photograph of the old setup before the replacement.

The stock wheels came home with me
After the change, I photographed the four removed wheel-and-tire assemblies together in the cargo area. I also took closer pictures of the tread and silver wheel. The original tire’s 235/65 R16C marking is readable in the close-up, and the Continental branding appears in the stock-tire photographs.
Those pictures give me a useful record of what came off the van. The cargo area was still largely bare at this stage, with the removed assemblies and hand truck inside.

The installed result
My final walkaround shows the matte-black Method wheels and BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires installed. The black wheels and blockier tread changed the van’s appearance immediately. I was very happy with the look, and that reaction is the focus of the closing footage.
The finished project film brings together my introduction, the boxed wheels and the installed walkaround. My Method MR701 page and BFGoodrich KO2 purchase and experience page contain the separate product notes and comparisons.

Where I finished
This was the first big visual change recorded in this group of projects: silver stock wheels off, matte-black Methods and the new tires on. My reaction in the walkaround was about the appearance, and I was delighted with it.
