The item in my kit
I bought Roberts 2057 Vinyl Composition Tile Adhesive as part of my camper van equipment.

Where it fits my build
The preparation session began with sweeping the cargo area. I followed with a mop and floor-cleaner spray, and used a towel and Simple Green on the walls.
For material that remained stuck to the floor, I used wire-brush and nylon-brush drill attachments. I dried the cleaned floor with a towel after working through those stages.

My build notes
Dust and residue had accumulated while I was repeatedly loading tools into the van and driving out to work on it. This session was about getting the cargo area ready for the next material stage.
The loose dirt, stuck-on residue and final drying were separate preparation jobs.
Alternative products
Two alternatives to compare
Henry 430 is a different VCT adhesive, while the quart Roberts 2057 is a smaller-container alternative using the same product family.
Henry 430 ClearPro VCT Adhesive
Henry 430 ClearPro is an adhesive for installing vinyl composition tile. The quart container provides material for spreading across a prepared flooring surface.
This quart pail contains Roberts 2057 adhesive for vinyl composition tile. It provides a smaller supply of the same adhesive family than the gallon package.
