I fitted small LED pods around the roof rack alongside the camera mounts. Making their plates and routing the individual leads became separate stages of the roof-equipment project.

Why I bought it
The small lamps were distributed around the rack, unlike the long light bar across the front. Each location needed a mounting point and a route for its wire.
SanYoung LED pods were included in the materials for the roof-wiring sessions. The photos show individual square lamps next to the custom camera assemblies.
How I used it in my camper van
I cut and drilled small aluminum mounting plates, making two plates for each LED light during the early mounting work. I fitted the small lights to the rack as the camera assemblies came together.
The wiring stage brought their leads through cable glands into boxes and PVC sections. I joined the light wires with solder-seal connectors and a heat gun, then brought the separate roof routes toward the large entry box.

My review
The repeated work mattered more than the size of an individual lamp. Each position brought another set of plates, fasteners, cable entries and wire connections.
I completed the camera and small-light mounting stage before finishing the wider conduit route. Treating mounting and wiring as distinct milestones made the progress visible even while the roof project continued.
Every small lamp added another mounting position and another wire route to the roof layout.
Alternative products
Two alternatives to compare
The Nilight flood and spot pods provide two different optical layouts in compact housings. Flood and spot patterns are the main distinction between these alternatives, while their mounting brackets and lead positions are relevant to arranging a small lamp on a rack.
Nilight Flood LED Pods
These compact LED pods use flood-pattern optics in individual housings. Their mounting brackets provide attachment points for positioning the lamps.
These compact LED pods use spot-pattern optics in individual housings. Their brackets provide another small-lamp mounting arrangement for an auxiliary-light layout.
