My screw purchases range from short panel fasteners to long timber screws. The six-inch FMhotu screws sit at the longer end of that kit, with the drawer frame providing context for the woodwork in the build.

Where it fits my build
I built the storage-bin drawer frame on the patio from a measured layout. I joined the timber, added inside corner brackets and fitted the base before moving on to the lining.
I cut the rubber mat with scissors, cleaned the wood and used spray adhesive in sections with a roller. Screws and washers attached the mat, and the slides joined the drawer to its surrounding cabinet frame.

My build notes
The drawer went through several distinct stages before it could slide in the cabinet. The photographs show the exposed frame first and the lined drawer later, making the changes in access and fastening positions visible.
Measuring, framing, lining and slide installation were separate stages of the drawer assembly.

Two alternatives to compare
The IMSCREWS option is another six-inch screw with a washer-style head. The GRK option offers a different screw format and length for comparing timber-fastening choices.
IMSCREWS 6-Inch Timber Screws
These six-inch screws combine a star drive with a wide washer-style head. The long threaded fasteners provide a timber-connection format distinct from shorter cabinet screws.
These cabinet screws use a washer-style head and a star drive. Their one-and-a-quarter-inch length provides another fastener format for joining wood components.
