Where it fits my build
I built the storage-bin drawer frame on the patio from a measured layout. I joined the timber, added inside corner brackets and fitted the base before moving on to the lining.
I cut the rubber mat with scissors, cleaned the wood and used spray adhesive in sections with a roller. Screws and washers attached the mat, and the slides joined the drawer to its surrounding cabinet frame.

My build notes
The drawer went through several distinct stages before it could slide in the cabinet. The photographs show the exposed frame first and the lined drawer later, making the changes in access and fastening positions visible.
Measuring, framing, lining and slide installation were separate stages of the drawer assembly.

These plastic end locks are separate components for elastic-cord assemblies. A central opening accepts the cord to form a ball-ended loop.
These completed bungee loops have toggle balls at one end. Their twelve-inch cord arrangement provides a ready-made alternative to assembling separate cord and ball components.
