M6 by fifty-millimeter hex bolts were included in my mounting-hardware purchases.

Where it fits my build
I cut and drilled aluminum bracket pieces for the roof cameras and lights. The camera mounts needed additional holes and adjustments as I brought the assemblies together on the extrusion.
I sprayed the camera-mount pieces with black bedliner during the fabrication sequence. The coated brackets then formed part of the roof camera and light arrangements shown in the diary.

My build notes
The black finish was one stage within the mount fabrication. The holes and profile connections still determined where the pieces could sit, so the diary records the drilling and fitting alongside the coating.
The bracket shape, drilled holes and coating were separate parts of finishing the mount.
Alternative products
Two alternatives to compare
The featured sets combine hex bolts with standard nuts and washers. The long Cionyce bolts change the available length, while the furniture bolts use socket heads and barrel nuts for a different joint style.
Cionyce Long M6 Hex Bolts
This pack contains four stainless M6 hex-head bolts. Their one-hundred-fifty-millimeter length makes them substantially longer than the other bolts in this comparison.
This pack combines M6 socket-head furniture bolts with matching barrel nuts. The selected bolts are fifty millimeters long and use a different joint arrangement from a standard hex nut.
