The drawer project combined a timber base with a fitted rubber lining. This aluminum edging is part of the materials I purchased for finishing the edges of built-up surfaces.
I bought M-D Silver Aluminum Stair Edging as part of my camper van equipment.

Where it fits my build
I built the storage-bin drawer frame on the patio from a measured layout. I joined the timber, added inside corner brackets and fitted the base before moving on to the lining.
I cut the rubber mat with scissors, cleaned the wood and used spray adhesive in sections with a roller. Screws and washers attached the mat, and the slides joined the drawer to its surrounding cabinet frame.

My build notes
The drawer went through several distinct stages before it could slide in the cabinet. The photographs show the exposed frame first and the lined drawer later, making the changes in access and fastening positions visible.
Measuring, framing, lining and slide installation were separate stages of the drawer assembly.
Alternative products
Two alternatives to compare
TMH and Wooster offer longer dark nosing profiles. Their lengths, finishes and surface shapes provide alternatives to the shorter silver M-D strip.
TMH Dark Stair Nosing
This TMH nosing is an aluminum edge profile with a dark anodized finish. Its angled section covers the front corner of a step or platform.
