The item in my kit
I bought SmartSHIELD 10mm Reflective Insulation as part of my camper van equipment.

Where it fits my build
The preparation session began with sweeping the cargo area. I followed with a mop and floor-cleaner spray, and used a towel and Simple Green on the walls.
For material that remained stuck to the floor, I used wire-brush and nylon-brush drill attachments. I dried the cleaned floor with a towel after working through those stages.

My build notes
Dust and residue had accumulated while I was repeatedly loading tools into the van and driving out to work on it. This session was about getting the cargo area ready for the next material stage.
The loose dirt, stuck-on residue and final drying were separate preparation jobs.

Reflectix and VUAOHIY use reflective bubble construction rather than this foam core, with narrower roll formats that change the cutting layout.
Reflectix Bubble Insulation Roll
This reflective insulation uses a bubble core between foil faces. The roll measures 24 inches wide and 25 feet long for cutting into panels or strips.
