Where it fits my build
I built the storage-bin drawer frame on the patio from a measured layout. I joined the timber, added inside corner brackets and fitted the base before moving on to the lining.
I cut the rubber mat with scissors, cleaned the wood and used spray adhesive in sections with a roller. Screws and washers attached the mat, and the slides joined the drawer to its surrounding cabinet frame.

My build notes
The drawer went through several distinct stages before it could slide in the cabinet. The photographs show the exposed frame first and the lined drawer later, making the changes in access and fastening positions visible.
Measuring, framing, lining and slide installation were separate stages of the drawer assembly.

Two alternatives to compare
The Master Lock 8143D incorporates a combination lock into the cable. The Python uses a keyed adjustable arrangement, so both alternatives include the locking mechanism instead of relying on a separate padlock.
Master Lock 8143D Combination Cable Lock
This cable has an integrated combination lock at its ends. Its coated braided cable forms a flexible loop around equipment and a locking point.
