Where it fits my build
I built the storage-bin drawer frame on the patio from a measured layout. I joined the timber, added inside corner brackets and fitted the base before moving on to the lining.
I cut the rubber mat with scissors, cleaned the wood and used spray adhesive in sections with a roller. Screws and washers attached the mat, and the slides joined the drawer to its surrounding cabinet frame.

My build notes
The drawer went through several distinct stages before it could slide in the cabinet. The photographs show the exposed frame first and the lined drawer later, making the changes in access and fastening positions visible.
Measuring, framing, lining and slide installation were separate stages of the drawer assembly.
Alternative products
Two alternatives to compare
Both alternatives change from roller engagement to a push-latch mechanism. Their operation and two-part mounting layout are the main comparison points.
RV Drawer Push Latches
These drawer latches use a push-action catch to hold and release a cabinet front. The catch and mating component mount inside the storage assembly.
