I bought VMKINGQS hidden-shackle door locks as part of my van equipment. The featured Master Lock provides a lock-and-hasp option to compare.
The featured Amazon option is Master Lock M736XKAD Puck Lock and Hasp.
Where it fits my build
My Day 87 plan put the body openings ahead of the aluminum framing, flooring and wall panels. I specifically included the shower drain and the openings for three water tanks in that order of work.
I removed cargo tie-down hardware to leave mounting points for the extrusion framing, and removed door trim for the later insulation and paneling. SketchUp helped me plan how those separate jobs would fit together.

My build notes
The useful part of this diary entry is the sequence. I wanted to finish the drilling while the interior metal was bare, so later work would not mean opening finished surfaces again.
The photographs show my preceding floor-preparation session. Sweeping, washing and removing residue created the starting point for the interior work I described next.
I planned the openings and mounting access before enclosing the interior.
Alternative products
Two alternatives to compare
The M736XKAD and 770-6271 combine locks with hasps in different mounting shapes. The ABUS alternative is a separate disc padlock, making it an option for a matching existing hasp rather than a complete hasp-and-lock assembly.
Master Lock 770-6271 Hasp and Lock
This Master Lock set pairs a door hasp with a hidden-shackle padlock. The hasp surrounds the locking point rather than leaving a conventional padlock shackle exposed.
The ABUS 20/80 has a round disc body surrounding much of the shackle. This individual keyed lock provides a different body size from smaller disc-lock sets.
