This gallery preserves the original Flatline Low Pro roof-rack images associated with the Transit 148-inch-wheelbase, high-roof extended reference. Use them to understand the illustrated arrangement and to prepare questions for a roof-layout plan.

The first two images show the rack from different angles. The third shows a crossbar profile. The fourth is the annotated dimension image, and the fifth shows an accessory arrangement beside a ladder. These are reference images, rather than a record of a verified installation on this build.

The archived dimension graphic labels a 145-inch usable rack length, 57.3-inch usable width, 58-inch crossbar width, 5-inch side-rail height and 79-pound rack weight.

Make a roof-layout record

  • Vehicle: record the model year, wheelbase, roof height and body length from the vehicle information.
  • Existing roof: mark openings, fittings and anything already occupying the proposed rack area.
  • Planned equipment: sketch each component's footprint and the space needed to reach or service it.
  • Rack documentation: collect the exact model's current dimensions, mounting instructions, hardware list and stated limits.
  • Open questions: list details that the archived images cannot resolve, then obtain the relevant vehicle or product documentation.

Use a separate sketch for the arrangement you are proposing. Distinguish dimensions copied from a product document from measurements taken on the actual vehicle so a later revision remains traceable.

Keep the layout decision traceable

Store the selected documents and unresolved fit questions in the decision log. Add the rack and its related equipment to your build cost record only when the scope is clear enough to compare complete options.
