The two PDFs here concern factory audio controls and the Audio Front Control Module (ACM). They provide workshop removal/installation references; they do not specify a complete aftermarket-radio installation or establish compatibility with a replacement unit.
Identify The Two Documents
Both sources are headed 2023 Transit, section 415-00B, with a revision of December 6, 2021. Their section heading names vehicles with SYNC 3 Lite and vehicles without SYNC. Match the actual factory equipment before selecting a branch.
- Audio Controls: five pages. The opening notes distinguish touchscreen equipment; the source includes display/connector illustrations and conditional module-programming notes.
- Audio Front Control Module (ACM): two pages. It cross-refers to the separate Center Display Screen procedure and includes programming notes when replacing the component.
Keep Factory Access And Retrofit Planning Distinct
Record the original system, the proposed replacement's exact model and any existing adapters or modifications. Keep the replacement manufacturer's vehicle-interface information with that record.
The PDFs include conditional programmable-module-installation notes. Preserve those notes with the complete procedure and the relevant diagnostic documentation instead of reducing the job to trim removal alone. The separately referenced display procedure is not bundled into these two files.
Find The Related Location Drawings
Use the audio component and cable-location reference for its configuration-specific illustrations. Keep the selected documents, equipment information and unanswered questions in the decision log. No aftermarket wiring connections, programming sequence or torque values are prescribed on this landing page.
