I used female-thread PVC connectors as nuts on the passenger-front junction-box fittings. This small assembly detail was recorded while joining the box to the route toward the van entry.

Why I bought it
The passenger-front box needed pipe fittings as well as a cable gland. The female adapters were included among the materials used to assemble those connections.
Their ordinary fitting shape combines a socket and an internally threaded end. In this part of my build I used the threaded end to hold the male connector at the box.
How I used it in my camper van
I drilled the passenger-front junction box, installed the male-thread connectors and threaded the female PVC connectors onto them as nuts. I then installed the cable gland and cut the pipe running toward the large box.
The same session included labeling and stripping wire, making solder-seal connections and routing the wires through the box and pipe. I connected the pipe sections and applied PVC cement as the assembly developed.

My review
The interesting detail in my build was the way I used the female fittings at the box. They became part of the attachment arrangement around the entry, alongside the male connectors.
It was a small task inside a longer sequence of drilling, fitting, wire preparation and routing. The box photographs help place that threaded connection in the wider assembly.

Two alternatives to compare
The Charlotte and FangKingNo alternatives both combine a socket with a female pipe-threaded end. Their shaped bodies provide two other examples of this fitting format. In my recorded use, the internally threaded end was the important part of holding the mating connector at the box.
