I reconnected the heater’s fuel-pump wires with two lever connectors after passing the power jack through the factory floor opening. My diary recorded that connection as temporary while the wiring work continued.

Why I bought it
The fuel-pump power jack would not pass through the floor route in its original arrangement. I cut the wires so I could move the jack through the factory opening.
The lever-connector kit was included in the materials for that session. It provided the connectors used to rejoin the two wires after routing.
How I used it in my camper van
I drilled the factory rubber gasket, passed the fuel-pump wires through the gasket and floor opening, then reconnected them with two lever connectors. I also attached the wires and nylon sheathing to the fuel line with plastic cable ties.
I recorded a plan to replace those connectors with solder-seal connections later. Other work in the session included fitting trim to the black cover and applying sealant around the factory floor opening.

My review
The useful feature in this stage was being able to reconnect the wires after changing their route. The close-up shows the pair of connectors near the floor entry.
The diary also makes the project sequence clear. Passing the jack through the opening, reconnecting the leads and planning the later wiring work were separate steps within the heater installation.
Routing the jack through the factory opening came before reconnecting the cut leads.
Alternative products
Two alternatives to compare
The WAGO 221 assortment includes several port counts, while the IDEAL option uses five-port housings. Both use releasable levers with different grouping arrangements. Port count and housing layout distinguish these alternatives for planning how wire ends are grouped.
WAGO 221 Lever-Connector Assortment
This assortment contains lever-operated wire connectors with several port counts. The transparent housings provide a view of the wire-entry positions.
These lever-operated connectors provide five wire-entry ports in each housing. Their releasable levers provide another connector format for grouping wire ends.
