Where it fits my build
The van build used several working spaces, including the patio for the storage-bin drawer and an outdoor setup for the roof equipment. I measured and assembled the drawer frame on the patio before fitting the lining and slides.
During the earlier cargo-floor cleanup, I wrote about loading the tools back into the van and driving out to work. Moving and organizing the equipment was part of the practical routine around the fabrication tasks.

My build notes
The workshop arrangements changed with the job. The diary photos show both a timber assembly area and a portable saw setup, providing context for the work-holding and storage equipment in my purchases.
The kit had to move between storage, transport and the place where I was working.

Two alternatives to compare
The Fiskars machete axe has a broader forward blade profile. Gerber's Gator Bush Machete uses a different blade outline and grip, making overall shape and storage length useful comparison points.

This long cutting tool combines a machete profile with a broader forward blade section. A sheath covers the blade when the tool is stored.
