The references in my drawings
Drawings 2, 3 and 4 include a 100A fuse label on the earlier vehicle-charging side and a 400A fuse label in the house-battery drawing. The drawings also show the surrounding cable routes and connection hardware.
The earlier vehicle-charging record includes the Renogy 60A charger. That charger was later replaced by two Victron Orion units. I keep the earlier fuse references with that history rather than turning their labels into a new description of the replacement chargers.
| Reference | Build and purchase context |
|---|---|
| 100A · E39 | The earlier drawing’s 100A reference and the BOJACK 100A MEGA purchase are retained as separate records. |
| 400A · E38 | The earlier drawing’s 400A reference sits alongside separate MEGA and Class T purchase records. |
The fuse purchases in my kit
I bought BOJACK MEGA/AMG fuses marked 100A and 400A. Each product has a strip body with bolted connection ends. Those purchases have their own item pages and are grouped here for comparison.
The ZOOKOTO purchase is a 400A Class T fuse-and-holder kit. It has a different fuse body and holder format. A current number and a fuse family are two separate identifiers, so both belong in the equipment record.
Build context
My system drawings bring together house batteries, charging equipment, distribution bars and protection components. Naming the hardware keeps the power paths readable as they move between those groups.
The roof-wire work was another part of that electrical build. My diary documents junction-box entries, grouped device leads, conduit pulls and the final covers. The photographs below show that routing work alongside the diagram’s component record.
My takeaway
My takeaway is to preserve the fuse format along with its marked current. The two 400A purchases in this list are a MEGA fuse product and a Class T kit; their body and holder arrangements are different.
For the two MEGA alternatives below, I compare the marked current, bolt-down body and pack contents. Keeping those fields together makes the shopping record more useful than a list of amp values alone.
