My roof mounts required repeated cuts in aluminum extrusion, angle and flat stock. The COMOWARE blade was in the tool list for those fabrication sessions.

Why I bought it
COMOWARE 12-Inch Metal-Cutting Saw Blade appears in my build materials and equipment for this work.

How I used it in my camper van
For the light bar, I cut an added extrusion beam and made three short drilled connectors. The rack side used quarter-twenty hardware, while the smaller 2020 extrusion used M5 hardware.
The different nuts changed the assembly sequence. A rack nut had to slide in through an opening, which meant undoing bolts I had already tightened; the smaller nuts could move and spin while I tried to start a bolt. I used an Allen key to reposition them.

My review
The cutting and drilling made the components, but positioning the small hardware took its own time. I recorded the difference between inserting the rack nuts and fishing the smaller nuts into place because it affected how the joint went together.
The profile, connector shape, bolt and slot nut all contributed to the assembly sequence.

The Freud LU89M012 is another twelve-inch circular blade for nonferrous stock. The DEWALT set represents a different cutting approach with a reciprocating saw; its blades use a different tool and mounting system.
Freud LU89M012 Nonferrous-Metal Blade
This twelve-inch circular blade uses carbide-tipped teeth for nonferrous-metal cutting. Its disc and arbor opening provide a circular-saw blade format.
These reciprocating-saw blades support cutting and removal work during a camper-van conversion. The set provides different blade patterns for changing between cutting tasks.
