Why I bought it
The roof project involved many individual light leads and cable entries. Preparing wire ends and finishing connections became a repeated part of assembling the route.
My supplies included a separate heat-shrink tubing kit alongside the solder-seal connectors. The two products had different roles during the wire work.
How I used it in my camper van
I covered exposed wire sections with tubing and a heat gun after stripping. This happened during the session when I pulled the remaining wires, connected the last LED lead and closed the junction boxes.
That session also included joining the remaining PVC sections and tightening the metal ties. The tubing belonged to finishing the wire sections before closing up the route.

My review
The kit gave the wire-finishing task its own supply of tubing, separate from the connectors used to join wire ends. The divided assortment and heat gun appear together in my build photo.
I treated the wire sections, connectors, cable entries and boxes as separate pieces of the same assembly. The tubing page records the covering step within that sequence.
Finishing the exposed wire sections was its own step before I closed the roof boxes.
