I fitted cable glands where light and camera leads entered the roof-wiring boxes. The entry points were part of the route I assembled before closing the junction boxes.

Why I bought it
My roof wiring passed through several junction boxes before entering the van. The cable leads needed their own entry fittings alongside the PVC pipe connections.
The MAKERELE gland assortment was included in that materials list. I used glands as the interface between the individual cables and the openings in the boxes.
How I used it in my camper van
At the front driver-side junction box, I drilled the entry holes, installed a gland and ran the LED-light wires through it. I added more gland entries as work progressed around the conduit route.
The final stage included adding a gland for the passenger-side security camera. The photographs show cable-entry fittings at the boxes and the surrounding pipe route during assembly.

My review
The glands had a specific place in my build: the points where an individual cable entered a box. The PVC connectors handled the pipe entries, while the glands handled the separate leads.
That division helped organize the physical layout. A box could have both a conduit connection and cable-entry fittings, so positioning the holes and running the wires were connected parts of the job.
Cable entries and conduit entries used different fittings in the same junction-box layout.
Alternative products
Two alternatives to compare
The PENGLIN alternative uses a three-quarter-inch NPT thread, while the AIRTAK option uses a half-inch NPT thread. These are different gland products with their own cable openings and thread sizes. Thread size and the cable-entry layout are the practical comparison points against the mixed-size MAKERELE assortment.
PENGLIN NPT Cable Glands
These nylon cable glands grip a cable where it passes through an enclosure wall. Their threaded bodies and compression caps provide another cable-entry arrangement for project boxes.
These nylon cable glands provide threaded cord entries with compression caps and gaskets. They offer another way to grip cables at an electrical enclosure opening.
